XVIIII- LE SOLEIL - Part One

1-A key word comes to my mind each time I see this card: REUNION / RE - UNION.
The same meaning of the word Religion : Re-ligare.
Here to begin we have some historical examples for analyze.
From left to right:Sforza castle (1600-1700 ? ) - Dodal (1701-1715 )-Jean Noblet (1650)-Nicolas Conver ( 1760)
These are typical historical examples that cover near 100 years.
We see here a pair,a couple.
One receiving the other.
So one,the left going to meet the right figure.That is for me a key point to start.

-In the case of Noblet the right figure is clearly a women.
So is not the common case of another historical decks.
Some days ago Bee noticed this when I sent to her the François Heri (1730 ? ) deck by e mail

And surely ours specialist Yves could helps here.

I looked for others examples of decks we know well,and only found these three examples of a pair: male at the left - female at the right.
Again surely Yves could correct me if I am wrong with his amazing collection.

-So we have Sforza Castle card-Noblet and François Heri.
The others as far as I know repeat the pattern Male / Male.

2-Even for the meaning purpose of the card both patterns drives us to the same conclusion,that is the re-union with ourselves and by extension and deepest conclusion with ours Souls,I choose the male/female pair as a depiction of a re- union with ours Soul.
Understood female figure as Ours Soul.
Also as a depiction of the Sun-Life itself.
We came from LA LVNE a depiction of deceive for me,of light of the Sun-Life "denied".
And here the Sun illuminate all ours innermost shadows and show that they were creatures of ours imagination...
See the face of the left figure: He is somewhat as under a drug astonishment...
Of course he is returning from a hard card-stage !
And now the Sun-life receive him,go towards him (remember that) but he is too stupefy to realize this.
Well I think that shows the enormous harm do the XVIII card-stage.
See that I don t say the card,only this card-stage on a person.
(BTW:The only card I can link with XVIII is XV and curiously the card-agent for the liberation of both is XIII )

3-What really always let me thinking is the size of the wall,I mean the HEIGHT of it...
Too low really ?
I mean with regard to the rest of the proportion of the elements of the cards.
Which is the purpose of this wall ?
Divide what from what ?
Of course this side from we are and the Sun side./But that don t convinced me too much...
-I better see it in terms of HEIGHT.

* The wall is too low to have a reason why be there my dearest friend I just think ...

-May be you let me believe that precisely the wall is too low to show that the sun WAS ALWAYS THERE,and there was not distance to him or height to meet him NOW AND HERE ?

-Understood Sun as life and as ours Souls.
And the re - union between us and ourselves and by extension with ours Souls.
See that only the female figure is really "waked up"

I think of this card as a kind of jailbreak. Look at the collars, those could be the remains of the ropes that tied the people to Le Diable's pedestal. They went "over the wall."

There is some conjecture that the left-hand figure, the one who is always male, is blind. In that case he would have been led to freedom by the figure on the right.

-Yes,having in mind that the left figure came from the darkness of LA LVNE surely he "suddenly" strongly felt dazzled by contrast once he entered at this card.
-I am agree with you,I have no doubt that this left figure is a depiction of the pair at XV card arriving at his liberation.
That collars are now only tied to his own right to create with his throat ( counterpart of genitals) his new reality.

*-For me the right female figure is his Soul incarnated that he found here and now not in his dreams...
HE REALIZED THIS.
Even he is not conscious yet.
