the 2009 readings thread

This one's for Jenne.

I used the Fantastic Menagerie, and paired each one with a card from the Victorian Flower Oracle, for clarification.

The interps are brief, but we can explore these further:

January

Looks like you're guarding your self-esteem against critical idjits who'd like to try to tear it down. Probably for their own little agenda.
Have some tinfoil!

February

Family time, prosperity, February looks really nice. Pomegranate also guards against gossip-mongers.

March

Work in preparation for a celebration of some kind.

April

April looks like it could get rough! Be the clipper and not the she-cat. Cut ties with assholes, at least around this time. Later, when the danger has passed, you can lol at them again.

May

There's a successful defense in May, and much celebrating and vino. WOOT!


June

Let hubby look after the kids and spend some time catching up with a woman friend, you'll be glad you did.

July

This one's a puzzler. Being of two minds and/or struggling, and Jessamine, which is a jumped-up word for jasmine. The card says "compassion" but jasmine is also sensuality, the moon, the feminine divine and all that good stuff...we can come back to this one.

August

August looks like pure WIN for you.

September

September looks like a time for reflection, quiet in a nice way, meditative.

October

October: dealings with large groups of people will be a clusterfuck. Keep everything small scale, weigh your options thoughtfully, and things will be fine.

November

Another rough one. Gawkers, gossips, being "out in the cold" and/or trying to make ends meet. Ride it out, it will pass.

December

Another puzzler. I don't know if you can see it on the scan, but that parrot has a baby caterpillar. Be skeptical of surface appearances, I guess.
